There have been two different navy functions which would make you an Iraq Veteran. They were Procedure Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Desert Storm was actually a more substantial operation since it involved more active duty US troops and allies but there were most certainly a lot more veterans involved in Operation Iraqi Freedom due to the fact it lasted for many years.
