Park Proposes Firewood Changes for the Smoky Mountains National Park. Great Smoky Mountains National forest officials are suggesting modifications that will certainly help guard park woodlands by additional limiting the type of firewood brought into the park. Non-native, tree-killing bugs and conditions can automatically be introduced into the park through firewood provided from ravaged areas. New invasions threaten our forests with usual tree fatality that may mess up wildlife environment, park biodiversity, along with panoramas.The park is recommending to lower this risk by altering park policies.
